Royal British Legion Poppy Factory
Each year 32 million Remembrance poppies and 80,000 wreaths are made at the Poppy Factory. A team of 50 people, most of them disabled, work all year round. They also make the wreathes laid by Her Majesty the Queen and other members of the Royal family. The guided tour of the working factory shows poppy and wreath making. The tour includes a talk. Minimum party in a tour is 10 and the maximum is 42 people. Tea and biscuits are served. Lunches at the staff restaurant can be pre-booked. Visitors on guided tours can buy souvenirs including Poppy Factory china. Came and see for yourselves what goes on here and where those familiar red poppies are made.
