WWT’s founder Sir Peter Scott enjoyed capturing the beauty of wildfowl and wetland landscapes through drawing and painting. Today, many artists and photographers are inspired by the result of his vision of a thriving urban wildlife habitat here at WWT London Wetland Centre. Come along to our workshop and learn some basic drawing techniques – all materials will be provided.

Join Artist Judith Gordon for this one day class exploring the summer specialities on the reserve. The day will begin the day with an introduction to drawing materials and basic techniques with particular focus on colourful summer foliage, mesmerising water and seasonal birds.

During a one-hour break you’ll be able to purchase lunch in the Kingfisher Kitchen and also take the opportunity to explore the Wetlands of the World area of the Centre to see some of the birds you have been drawing.
