John Hegley made his performance debut as a busker outside a shoe shop in Hull, and has since become one of the country’s best-loved poets. In a show suitable for both adults and children of 10 and up, John will be reading and singing verse from his three potato titles; Peace, love and potatoes, New and selected potatoes and I am a poetato. The subjects broached will be friends, family and, of course, food stuffs.

The Orange Tree Theatre is situated in the heart of Richmond just two minutes from Richmond Station.
As you leave the Station cross the road and turn right, the Theatre is 50 meters down the road. You will see the Theatre’s orange and white rehearsal rooms ahead and also the Orange Tree pub on your left hand side.

Train: South West Trains and Silverlink to Richmond Station.
