Speaker: Simon Fowler

This talk will look at how Richmond changed during the 1970s. The town and the people who lived here changed dramatically during the decade. Come along and find why and how this happened and share your stories. As well as nostalgia inducing photographs we hope to be showing films from the 1970s.

Simon Fowler is vice-chairman of Richmond Local History Society. He moved to area in the early-1980s to work at the Public Record Office. He’s now a freelance researcher, tutor and writer.
