Hear five distinguished poets, all former members of Twickenham Stanza, perform their work.
Alison Hill’s latest collection, Sisters in Spitfires celebrates the women who flew
with the Air Transport Auxiliary during the Second World War. Alison set up Rhythm & Muse and was Kingston Library’s first Poet in Residence.
Paul McLoughlin has published four collections, most recently The Road to Murreigh. A fifth will appear in 2017. He edited and introduced Brian Jones: New & Selected Poems and has written poetry for journals and magazines.
Rosemary Norman’s third collection is For Example . Her poem Lullaby has been much anthologised and her work with video artist Stuart Pound, widely screened.
Judith Watts writes poems about sex from different angles. She publishes and performs in public and private. By day she teaches publishing at Kingston University and is completing her PhD on Mills & Boon to become a Dr of Love.
Frances White will be reading from her recently published first collection Swiftscape.
