Sally Nicholls & David Roberts: Suffragettes! The Girls that Changed our World

The story of the women’s suffrage movement is one of astounding bravery, ingenuity and strength. The huge personal sacrifice, and ultimately rebellion, changed society forever.

Join us for this special event celebrating a century since the first women won the right to vote in the UK.

Expect lively discussion, readings and live drawing from Sally Nicholls, author of bestselling young adult novel Things A Bright Girl Can Do, and award-winning illustrator David Roberts, author of Suffragette The Battle for Equality.
