Details

Explore the Here Be Dragons exhibition, sculpture trail and family activities which celebrate the restoration of 80 magnificent dragons onto the Great Pagoda.

The exhibition tells the story of dragonologist Ting and her hunt for dragons within Kew Gardens. Discover how she researches, finds and records dragons and help her complete her mission to hunt down and identify all the dragons nesting in Kew Gardens.

Here Be Dragons began in 2017 with a BBC Blue Peter competition for children aged 6-15 to design a dragon for the Great Pagoda. The winning design will appear on the Pagoda and the five top runner-up designs have been turned into huge dragon sculptures that families can hunt for in the gardens. A sixth dragon has been designed by a local community group.
