Bookstory 6+ years at Waterman's Centre
Play, Sun 9 Oct 2016
40 High Street,
All the books are happy in Brian’s busy library. Thriller or Textbook, History or Romance – they all love to be borrowed. But one day Brian goes all quiet. And so does his library. Doesn’t Brian care about his books anymore? The only book he’s reading now is that funny, shiny-looking one that says it has four billion pages. Will they all be left on the shelf?
The books had better stiffen their spines, because to save their library they may have to check themselves out…
Dive into the real world of books in Monstro theatre’s new pioneering puppet musical that tells the story of the story in the digital age, using puppetry and dynamic performance to bring to life this celebration of books, reading and libraries.
