From The Lass to the Marshgate:
The Queen’s Road Estate, Pesthouse Common and Courtlands
This walk focuses on the history and development of the Queen’s Road Estate over the last 230 years, and includes visits to the former Parish Workhouse of 1787 (now converted to residential apartments), Grove Road Gardens, Pesthouse Common and the landscaped grounds and water-garden forming part of the Courtlands Estate, and finishes at The Mitre in St Mary’s Grove.

Meet by 7.30 pm outside Richmond Station to take the 371 bus or meet by 7.45 pm at the bus stop outside The Lass of Richmond Hill on Queen’s Road.
