About

La Ciclista in East Sheen opened its doors early September 2019.

It was born from a vision to create a ‘virtual clubhouse’ for the growing cycling community as well as offering a welcoming venue for all customers – whatever their interests, leisure or sporting preferences. Our secure indoor bike parking is an example of the emphasis we put on ensuring that visitors can truly relax when they are with us.

Our success means that today we are a ‘go to’ destination for the wonderfully varied community in the Sheen area that enjoys walking (with or without dogs), cycling, rowing and making the most of everything Richmond Park, the River Thames and towpath have to offer.

We look forward to expanding this model to the Hampton Wick area later in 2022 as well as opening up other venues and concessions in the London & Surrey area. Our ethos remains the same: to provide an experience that will ensure you return time and again and is the kind of place you readily tell your friends and family about.

The business partners – Sabina and Jeremy – are frequently to be found in the café, either lending a hand or simply enjoying a delicious coffee… and are always happy to talk to customers, both regulars and new ones. Both are former motorcyclists-turned-cyclists (Jeremy still rides his scooter, we make allowances for such things), live locally and share international backgrounds as well as a great love for the outdoors.

La Ciclista’s tag-line is 'MEET, EAT, CLEAT, REPEAT' but we also offer a lot more.

Come and visit us and be part of this growing, like-minded community.
