The Richmond in Europe Association is a voluntary organisation which promotes goodwill, friendship, contact and understanding between individuals, groups, clubs and associations in the Richmond area and the rest of Europe. Since the referendum there has been a surge of interest in the association.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the first twinning, and many exchange visits and events are planned, including a European Youth Council in Konstanz, to which the young people of Richmond have been invited.
