About
Recently introduced to OSO audiences as Aubrey Everett in The Revellers Society, Peter Land returns with a thrilling evening all his own with Music, Song, Words and Laughter. Peter takes us on his theatrical journey: a boy from New Zealand - first hired in London, as a voice so full throated it saved the cost of a microphone - to New York and back via the National Theatre, RSC, Broadway and West End. The evening promises to enchant and entertain – and teach everyone how to construct the perfect Negroni.
In conversation with Luke Rittner (former CEO, Royal Academy of Dance) and performances from very Special Guests. Directed by Ian McFarlane, and at the piano Laurie Denman.
This Gala performance benefits the Lynne & Land Foundation, which was established by Peter and his late wife, renowned theatre icon Dame Gillian Lynne, to help support young and talented students of the performing arts to develop their abilities and careers through a system of supportive grants and scholarships. It has given help - all through the Pandemic - to those most in need.
