Liz Pichon, the superstar creator of the Tom Gates series, the million selling author, Dr Adam Kay, and rock star comedian, David Baddiel, are just a few of the big names on their way to London's largest children's literature festival at Barnes on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 June.
There are more than 100 fun family-friendly readings, workshops, performances and free activities around the village over the weekend including Festival favourites Rob Biddulph and Gruffalo illustrator Axel Scheffler.
Also on their way to Barnes are a few famous faces including the Green Wing actor and funny man Steven Mangan and the star of some of the UK's favourite family television shows including Horrible Histories and Ghosts, Simon Farnaby.
The stellar line up continues with some of the biggest names from picture books including former UK Children's Laureate, the author and artist behind Charlie & Lola, Lauren Child, Lydia Monks and Nick Sharratt. and the author of the smash hit series Murder Most Unladylike, Robin Stevens.
There's plenty of entertainment for the littlest book fans too with performances of Paddington Bear's First Concert, Elmer the Patchwork Elephant and The Rainbow Fish, and a very special appearance by Laura Henry-Allain with her beloved characters from the CBeebies television series, JoJo and Gran Gran.
