The Barnes Concert Band brings together over 40 wind, brass and percussion players to perform contemporary wind band repertoire, music from shows and films and a selection of classics. Formed in the early 1970s, the Band takes part in many local events and are delighted to be returning to the Barnes Music Festival again in this anniversary year.



Come and listen to the band perform a programme of original wind band works including The English Folk Song Suite and Portrait of a City, alongside some Big Band swing, featured soloists and culminating with a selection from Bernstein’s timeless classic West Side Story. Please join the Band for tea and cakes after the concert.
