Have you wondered why we sometimes fence off areas of the common? if it is necessary to fell a tree? what is the benefit of a reed bed?
Join Will Dartnell, FoBC's Conservation Manager for an informal walk around the common and learn all about the Conservation work that goes on across the Common's different habitats and why.

This walk will last approximately two hours and takes place outdoors. As such please dress appropriately for the weather and wear sturdy footwear.

If the weather is warm, you may wish to bring a bottle of water. We will start and finish the walk at Vine Road Park.
