Led by Daniel TurnerThe Come & Sing workshop has become an established feature of the festival and the work featured this year is one of the great masterpieces of the choral repertoire, Joseph Haydn’s The Creation. The workshop is led by Daniel Turner, the festival’s founding Artistic Director, who brings with him the Guildhall Junior Chamber Choir of which he is the conductor.

Our day finishes with a full performance of The Creation as part of the Barnes Music Festival, together with the Guildhall Junior Chamber Choir, who will also première a new short work specifically written for them, accompanied by Organ and conducted by Dan Turner.
**We will be working from the Novello edition. Some other editions are significantly different so it is important that all Singers use Novello. If you need to hire a Novello score, you will have the option to do so for an additional £2 hire fee when booking your Singing ticket.
The timetable is:
11.30 to 12.00 Come & Sing registration – tea/coffee available.
12.00 to 13.30 Rehearsal
13.30 to 14.30 Lunch – bring your own or visit one of the many cafés/restaurants in Barnes.
14.30 to 15.30 Rehearsal
15.30 to 16.00 Tea/Coffee
16.00 to 16.30 Rehearsal
