Sponsored by English Heritage, National Lottery Heritage Fund, and Vist Richmond and hosted at RHACC, these five separate events over June and July are inspired by Henrietta Howard- visionary behind Marble Hill.

These events are by women to inspire your inner entrepreneur. Your ticket includes a glass of wine, networking, and a marketplace promoting local businesses.

Loving The Local - An interview with infamous local, Desiree Shepherd, Shepherd’s Star on connecting and building communities, Cornelia Costeanu (Found of Maker's United) and Susie Bush-Ramsey (Creator of Take 7 Simple Steps).

Desiree Shepherd:

Ever since she was young, Desiree has had a heart for her community and creating opportunities of provision for those in need. Co-founder of three charities - one in South Africa and two in the UK, Richmond Upon Thames - Desiree is a community connector, passionate about building meaningful networks across different cultures and socio-economic backgrounds.

Inspired by one of her favourite quotes: "Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as ever you can." - John Wesley, Desiree is an entrepreneur with experience in both corporate and charity sectors. Working in partnership with others and making a difference in the lives of the "one" is what makes her come alive.
