BARNES CHOIR SUMMER CONCERT SCHUBERT - Mass in G BRITTEN - Rejoice in the Lamb MENDELSSOHN - Hear my Prayer PARRY - Blest Pair of Sirens HEPPLEWHITE

About

The Barnes Choir invites you to our Summer Concert, conducted by our Musical Director, Julian Collings, and with Organist Peter Jaekel and professional soloists. The concert will feature four well-loved Choral Classics: Schubert's Mass in G, Britten's Rejoice in the Lamb, Mendelssohn's Hear my Prayer and Parry's Blest Pair of Sirens. We will also perform a new work commissioned by the choir as part of the Barnes Music Festival's 10th Anniversary this March, This is a setting of the poem While There is Still Time by the author Jamila Gavin (of Coram Boy fame) by composer Russell Hepplewhite.
