About

The LSD Band was formed during lockdown as a jam band by five of London's top musicians who all have superb CV's, having played with some of the best acts in the world. Their new blues/rock collective has already played a few gigs to great acclaim, with four of the guys being accomplished singers as well. Their set-list includes classics by such artists as the Allman Brothers Band, Cream, early Fleetwood Mac, JJ Cale, Ry Cooder, Neil Young, Joe Walsh, Rolling Stones and more.
The band line-up consists of: Matt Backer (guitar/vocals). Matt has played guitar with ABC, Steve Winwood, Joe Cocker and many more; Dzal Martin (guitar/vocals). Dzal was with The Equals for many years as well as the Box of Frogs project with Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page and Rory Gallagher, plus session work with Van Morrison, Nik Kershaw, Meatloaf, Nazareth and many more. Steve Salvari (keyboards/vocals), has played with Chaka Khan, Robert Palmer, Lulu, Barry White, The Libertines, and more; Vince Lewis (bass/vocals) played with Raw Deal, Lee Ryder's Blues Deluxe; and Dave Stark (drums) who played with Raw Deal, the John Lennon Experience, Randy Bachman, Denny Laine and more.
