Lecture:Interpreting Henrietta Howard's Hearing Loss at Marble Hill Park

Lecture, Mon 6 Dec 2021

In light of COVID-19, please make sure you check with your travel and accommodation providers before travelling.

Henrietta Howard went partially deaf at age 30. Through the reinterpretation we aim to celebrate her disability as despite the various challenges Henrietta faced her adversity and made the most of all that she could in creating Marble Hill and being a Patron of the Arts. Find out more about from musicians Gobbledegook about how they helped create a soundscape to share about Henrietta's hearing loss and the creative process that went into the reinterpretation.
