Royal School of Needlework

Apartment 12A Hampton Court Palace,
East Molesey,

An introduction course is a perfect place to start if you are new to embroidery and are looking to have a go and start a new hobby or if you are coming back to a forgotten hobby. This delightful design uses colourful crewel wools to work a range of stitches giving a mix of textures and patterns that will begin your repertoire of stitches that can be used time and time again. Included in the stitches you will learn are Whipped and Woven Wheels, French Knots and Stem, Satin, Chain and Pistil stitches.
During the class you will see demonstrations of all required techniques, as well as will get individual attention from the tutor allowing you to develop your skills at your own pace.

The class kit will include everything you require to complete the project. You may like to bring your own embroidery scissors and you will be able to borrow ring frames, magnifiers and lights (if needed) on the day.
