About
The Puppet Barge is one of the UK's most unique arts venues, a 50 seat theatre inside a converted Thames barge. Described as one of London's more elusive treasures, the theatre has been enchanting audiences since 1982. A third generation family business, the theatre is rich in atmosphere and provides the ideal setting for the imaginative shows produced by this company.
The theatre specialises in puppetry and presents marionette and rod puppet spectacles throughout the year. It spends winter in Little Venice, central London, and the summer on the River Thames. Performances at Richmond-on-Thames take place from July to October.
