Yin and Sound Bath Retreat

About

'Rest & Restore' Yin & Sound Bath Retreat

Feel grounded, calm & replenished with a deeply relaxing evening of Yin Yoga & sound healing.

At a time when many of us are craving a slower pace, this mini retreat will offer you space to put aside the 'to do' list, and gift yourself some valuable time to receive. To bask in the joy of doing less. Relaxing muscles, releasing chronic tension, and calming a busy mind.

Beth will be guiding the 75 minute slow Yin practice; long, passive holds in supported yoga postures – don't worry, there will be lots of props for cushioning! Holding poses softly in stillness and relaxing the tendency to grip down-regulates the body's stress response, freeing up constricted circulation and energy flow in the body. Yin is popular with a variety of ages and abilities, offering time & space to soften, ground and release tension in commonly tight areas like hamstrings, glutes, spine, hips & shoulders.

The yoga will be followed by a 45 minute sound bath, led by sound practitioner Zoe Smith (@zoes.zen) who runs regular sold out events in Surrey. Simply lie down, relax, and allow the crystal bowls to guide you through a deeply-immersive, full-body experience, using sound to create powerful shifts for body and mind, facilitating healing at a cellular level. Sound baths support the clearing of emotional and energetic blockages, and transport our brainwaves from active to rest/repair.

You will need your own yoga mat and two blankets for this event. All abilities welcome!

Book yourself in for a nourishing self-care reset and move into the weekend feeling calmer, rested and replenished.
