This Intermediate drawing workshop, led by Judith Gordon, will begin with some quick sketching of wildlife at the London Wetland Centre composed in a natural setting.

Working with coloured pencils, we will look at ducks in water, dragonflies on plants, herons fishing. We will try to catch that concentration we see when an animal is intent on something. Focus on its expression and tension in its body.

In the afternoon you can choose a fresh subject to sketch. Using photos taken at London Wetland Centre, you can do more complete composition, using coloured pencils as well.

Suitable for adults ages 16 and over.
