Why should kids have all the fun messing about in ponds?

Grab a net and join our team to find out what lives in the water here at WWT London Wetland Centre. From snails to newts and shrimps, you’ll be amazed just how much you’ll find. And some of them may be small but they can be surprisingly fearsome. There’s a rumour that the monster in the film Alien was based on a dragonfly nymph – come and discover why!

This session is tailored to adults and combines pond dipping with a more detailed look at the various creatures using microscopes etc. No experience necessary.
