Details

The aim of this four-day course is to help you on the first steps to designing your own garden. We’ll look at how you can get to know the particular constraints of your space, to develop ideas and an outline plan. We’ll then look at how you put that plan into action with sessions on how to
approach construction and developing a planting design. Week 1: Getting to know your garden
Week 2: Developing a plan Week 3: Detailing and building your garden Week 4: Planting for your new garden This course is aimed at amateur gardeners who are keen to develop their own gardens. It will be classroom based and provide useful design tools and approaches. Some
knowledge of garden plants will be useful but is not essential. The course is run in collaboration with the London College of Garden Design, the leading training college for professional garden design
