Thames Philharmonia at Landmark Arts Centre
Music, Sat 3 Dec 2016
Brilliant young soloist SongHa Choi, prize-winner in this year’s Yehudi Menuhin international violin competition, returns to the Landmark with Thames Philharmonia to perform Tchaikovsky’s beautifully lyrical violin concerto.
The concert will open with Francesca da Rimini, Tchaikovsky’s passionate orchestral fantasy inspired by the tragic love story from Dante’s Inferno, and Rimsky-Korsakov’s Christmas Eve suite will conclude the programme in festive spirit.
