Hardhome Embroidery – A Talk by Anthea Godfrey at Landmark Arts Centre
Talk, Sun 19 Mar 2017, free entry
This year we are welcoming Anthea Godfrey, Artistic Director of the Embroiderers Guild and Principal Lecturer at the London College Of Fashion U.A.L. to the Contemporary Textiles Fair to give us a captivating talk on the Hardhome Embroidery.
The Hardhome Embroidery is a large-scale Game of Thrones inspired artwork which is currently touring the UK following its unveiling at the 2016 NBO Game of Thrones season premiere. Anthea was the project manager for this exciting piece, which was worked on by many guild members and other hardworking stitchers.
