Each year 32 million Remembrance poppies and 80,000 wreaths are made at the Poppy Factory. A team of 50 people, most of them disabled, work all year round. They also make the wreathes laid by Her Majesty the Queen and other members of the Royal family.
Guided tours of the working factory show poppy and wreath making and include a talk. Minimum party is and the maximum is 35 people; smaller groups will be amalgamated whenever possible. Bookings must be made in advance. Tea and biscuits are served. Lunches at the staff restaurant can be pre-booked. Visitors on guided tours can buy souvenirs including Poppy Factory china.
