Sun 29 Apr Plant Sale for Wildlife

Bring wildlife into your gardens by coming to our Plant Sale! With a great selection of plants for sale, free tours of the beautiful, Grade II listed Kilmorey mausoleum, local beekeepers as well as plenty of delicious homemade cakes, there will be something for all the family to enjoy!

What: Plant Sale for Wildlife - fun, fundraising event for the whole family
When: Sunday 29th April 2018, 9am -3pm
Where: Kilmorey Mausoleum wildlife garden, 275 St Margaret’s Road, Twickenham, TW1 1PN

Our wild animals and plants have been losing their homes over the years - over half of UK species have declined over the last 50 years (State of Nature report, 2013) - so it's very important we look after them. Many of our most beautiful garden plants are attractive to wildlife and any garden, however small, can be turned into a sanctuary for wildlife.

So please join us at our first Plant Sale for Wildlife at the beautiful and historic Kilmorey Mausoleum garden in St. Margarets. We will be selling a wide range of plants which encourage and sustain local wildlife including annuals, biennials, perennial, herbs and MANY more. Whether you have a huge garden or tiny outside space, there will be plenty of bargain plants to get your gardens buzzing.

Our plant sale will be combined with the mausoleum's Open Day so as well as buying some plants you can also explore the wildlife garden and have a look inside the mausoleum where our volunteers will be giving fascinating tours. We will also have local beekeepers with their hive happy to let you meet their buzzing friends.

Entry is £2 (kids go free) which includes refreshments, tour of the mausoleum and wildlife garden.

First 50 visitors will get a free pack of ‘bee friendly wildflower seeds’!
This is a fundraising event for local charity the Environment Trust and all profits will support local nature and heritage conservation projects.
