About

Carnaby Army brings you the kind of 60’s music that is best experienced LIVE!

The 1960’s music scene in Britain didn’t start with a bang, it was more a crescendo. The decade heralded the arrival of bands that are now household names: the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Kinks and the Animals raised energy levels from about 1964, followed closely by the Who, Spencer Davis Group and the Small Faces. They were the vanguard of the British Invasion, but the US had their own high energy acts too, with Jerry Lee Lewis and Chuck Berry turning up the heat, Wilson Picket getting people on their feet, and the Doors raising a few storms in their short but bright career.

Carnaby Army’s stunning show brings the excitement of this amazing period back to audiences young and old. This is not music for earbuds, this is a cultural phenomenon that needs to be experienced!
