Here in Richmond upon Thames we've made sure that there are direct links to our attractions via train. In the borough there are fifteen (15) South Western Railway Stations available for you and if you wish to purchase tickets ,the ticket office opens from Monday to Friday - 06:15-21:45; Saturday - 06:15-21:45; Sunday - 07:15-21:30.

There are nine travel zones in London's public transport network. Richmond upon Thames is located in Zone 4 and 5. There are various types of methods you can use to travel on the underground & overground services. You can use a contactless payment, buy a Visit Oyster Card or Travelcard. We recommend you purchase Visit Oyster Card, as it's 50% cheaper than buying a Travelcard and you can enjoy special offers and promotions.
The Borough is also served by the District Line (Green) of the London Underground Services to Richmond via Kew Gardens, as well as the Overground services to Richmond from Stratford making it easy for you to travel from any part of London. The overground & underground services open as follow:
♦ Underground: Monday to Saturday from 05:00 am to midnight: Sunday hours are slightly reduced.
♦ Overground: Monday to Friday 05:47 - 23:12 (every 15 minutes train); Saturday - 05:43 - 23:15 (every 15 minutes train); Sunday - 09:13 - 22:30 (every 15 minutes train)
