Singer-songwriter Nik Kershaw established himself as a master of 80s pop with his Brit-nominated debut album 'Human Racing', featuring the hit singles 'I Won't Let The Sun Go Down On Me' and 'Wouldn't It Be good'. He left the spotlight in the late 80s to focus on song writing and production, returning to touring and releasing original music almost a decade later. Nik Kershaw and Chesney Hawkes rarely appear on the same bill, despite their association going back to 1991 when Kershaw wrote and co-produced Hawkes' ubiquitous hit 'The One and Only'. The Shires are the UK's most successful country music export, with multiple top 10 albums and hundreds of thousands of tickets sold around the world. They first broke through in 2014 with their single 'Nashville Grey Skies', a playful song about Britain needing its own country scene. And that's something which they helped happen, starting with their 2015 debut 'Brave', which became the first ever Top 10 album by a UK country music artist, followed by a succession of hit albums.
