Teddington
The second largest park in London, Bushy Park is a former Royal hunting ground.
Where herds of deer still wander at will and was one of King Henry VIII's favourite deer parks.
Since its establishment, the research work at NPL has included all branches of physics, light, electricity and magnetism, radio communication, engineering, metallurgy, aeronautics and ship design. Many of Britain's most renowned scientists have been involved in work at NPL, including Alan Turing, Louis Essen and Donald Davies.
The Landmark Arts Centre is a distinctive venue for the whole community. Our vibrant range of activities is growing and we have something to engage and entertain several times a week, most weeks of the year.

SHOPPING IN TEDDINGTON
Teddington has a wealth of independent retailers specialising in designer and vintage clothing.
Among the other unusual shops there is a cigar emporium, a well stocked kitchen shop and a children’s boutique. When you need a bit of rest and relaxation, you can take a short break at one of the many wine bars or cafes or relax by the river near the famous Teddington Lock – where the tidal stretch of the River Thames ends.
