3D Embroidery on a hoop

About

Join us for a fun and creative Saturday morning of stitching, where you can learn to really raise your embroidery!

During the workshop, expert stitcher Katherine Savage from the Treasure Kave will introduce you to a range of fabulous embroidery stitches including basic beading, woven rose wheels, how to create 3D bead sculptures, couching, basket weave and French knots. You'll also learn how to create colour combinations —ideal for creating your own hoop art.

Katherine, an experienced embroidery artist, will guide you through the process, sharing her favourite stitches and tips to make your project truly unique.

All of the threads, beads, needles and tools you'll need will be provided, so you can focus on stitching your design.

Katherine will also bring a variety of inspirational examples to spark your creativity.

The workshop is perfect for both complete beginners and those with a little experience of hand sewing, as this friendly and hands-on session will introduce you to a variety of beautiful embroidery and beading techniques.

You'll leave with a beautifully hand-stitched piece and the confidence to start your own embroidery projects at home!

We'll also be serving hot drinks and homemade cake to help creativity.
