Handmade basket with breads and onions

About

Come and join us for a Sunday morning of creativity and learn how to make a lovely – and also very useful – willow basket.

This workshop is a perfect introduction to the traditional craft of willow basketry.

Yeoman basketmaker Eleanor Morgan will teach you how to weave yourself a basket using a sold wooden base and a selection of Somerset grown willow.

All materials and tools will be supplied, along with lots of tea, coffee and homemade cake.

We're also very happy to run this class as a bespoke party or as an alternative team building event for companies. Just mail us on craft@handmadeworkshops.co.uk for more information.
