Two toe bags

About

Gain confidence with how to use your sewing machine whilst making yourself a handy tote bag in our inspiring workshop taught by experienced teacher Cornelia Costeanu.

This class is perfect as a progression from our machine sewing for beginners class and also for rusty returners to sewing, who want to revive their sewing knowledge.

During the class you'll be given a short refresher into the basics before you move on to cutting out your fabric and sewing together a fully lined tote bag, complete with pockets both outside and inside.

All materials are included, as are lots of tea, coffee and home made cake, and you'll leave with your finished tote bag to impress friends and family with!

We can also lend you a sewing machine to use during the class (for a small fee of £10), though we do recommend that you bring your own machine if you have one, to help you to familiarise yourself with it better.

Feel free to bring your own fabric, too – you just need a thicker fabric for the outside and thinner inside.

Cornelia is a very experienced and well-known instructor, having been teaching sewing to both adults and children for over 10 years. With a degree in interior design, she is passionate about recycling, vintage fashion and is rather addicted to her sewing machines (currently owning 7!).
