About

Join us for a lovely day raising money for a good cause.

We are delighted to announce Twickenham's first Café Bridge of 2026, organised by Ken Surridge in aid of Porridge and Rice aid for Ukraine + Kenya. The sun always shines on Café Bridge (though not in an extreme fashion), and it is impossible not to have a good time, especially in the company of the friendliest bridge players imaginable.

Ukraine is a poor country with complex social challenges made worse by the war. Resources are stretched, with orphans often being a low priority, such that the state is unable to meet their needs. PaR has been working with Ukrainian orphans for five years now, helping to provide everything from socks to basic lessons on skills needed for independent life. The aim for Spring Café Bridge Church Street Twickenham is to raise funds to help PaR continue to support Ukrainian orphans.
