About

Treat yourself to a wonderfully relaxing day of creativity in our latest bookbinding workshop!

In this absorbing full day class, professional bookbinder and experienced instructor Mylyn McColl will teach you all the stages involved in making a hard backed book using the coptic binding technique.

During the day, you will learn how to fold paper to prepare the different sections and also create gorgeous hard covers for your book, before being guided through the process of attaching the covers with the decorative stitching of Coptic binding.

The workshop is suitable for both beginners and those with some prior experience of bookbinding.

All materials and tools are provided, including a great range of different decorative papers to choose from, ensuring that your finished book is totally unique and personal to you.

We'll provide lots of tea, coffee and cake throughout the day and there will be a break for lunch, when you can either eat a packed lunch or treat yourself at one of the many cafes in Teddington.

"I now have a beautiful book produced in wonderful company!"

"fantastic workshop, really friendly and a new skill learned"
