Dusty Unplugged

About

This show lays bare the sheer beauty of Dusty's lyrics and music.

Dusty Springfield, the iconic singer from the 1960s through to her collaboration with the Pet Shop boys in the 80s, was the soundtrack to a generation.

Her heartfelt renditions of songs from You Don’t Have To Say You Love Me to I Just Don’t Know What To Do With Myself remain all-time classics.

Renowned pianist and arranger Janette Mason, who was recently nominated for Jazz Instrumentalist of the Year and whose credits include Oasis and Pulp, has teamed up with Award-winning recording artist and songwriter Jo Harrop to perform an intimate evening of acoustic covers highlighting Dusty’s phenomenal career.

They are joined by the superb bassist Simon Little (The Divine Comedy).

This show lays bare the sheer beauty of the lyrics and music highlighting Dusty’s genius for choosing such powerful material, which often mirrored the story of her life.
