Frankenstein

About

Geneva, 1816.  The year without a summer.  Trapped inside by the weather, Lord Byron, Percy Bysshe Shelley, and young Mary Godwin sit down for a competition: to see who could craft the most spine-chilling ghost story.

What Mary created would not only shock her companions, but send shivers up the spines of readers for centuries to come: the tale of a man wracked by grief and fear, who wished to heal his broken heart; the tale of a scientist who wished to play God; and the tale of a creator who lost control of his creation…..

A powerful and atmospheric adaptation of a literary classic that, this dynamic and exciting retelling of Mary Shelley’s classic brings the story to life in a fresh and compelling way, receiving rave reviews when it premiered earlier this year. This is a new tour for 2025/26.
