On Sunday, 7 September 2025, the Moormead Community will gather once again for its annual picnic, that brings neighbours together in celebration of local spirit. From 11:30am to 3:30pm, guests are invited to enjoy live music, a variety of family entertainment, and the simple pleasure of sharing a picnic on the green.
This year introduces an exciting accessible theme, with new activities designed to be inclusive for all. Visitors can take part in Acez Tennis by Access Sport, Boccia, chair-based Zumba and Pilates, and walking football. Food stalls, live performances, and accessible facilities ensure a welcoming and enjoyable experience for everyone.
