About

On Wednesday 29th October 2025, just before Halloween, Murder on Tap rises from the shadows once more—after a short hiatus—for a night where true crime meets craft beer, and the darker side of celebrity culture is laid bare.

This edition explores true crime cases involving the rich and famous: not just the infamous names who broke the law, but the victims whose lives were cut short, the investigators who pursued justice, and even the celebrity allies who helped solve the cases. Expect film noir atmospheres and stories that linger long after the last drink.

The Dress Theme: Dead Famous

To mark the season, we're going full dead-celebrity glamour and we invite you to come dressed as your dearly departed icon, from Judy Garland to Bowie, Prince to the Prince of Darkness. It's all part of the storytelling, the mood, and the mystery.

Whether you arrive as a rock 'n' roll legend, silver screen siren, or scandalous star from the shadows, we invite you to lean into the theme. Not up for dressing up? No problem—dark lipstick or a glint of vintage jewellery is just fine. You're welcome either way.

What Awaits You
Cocktail Beers – Inspired by classic drinks, crafted by brewers. No spirits here—except for the dead.

Hors d'Oeuvres – A curated selection of bite-sized pairings, including some vintage cocktail party classics.

True Crime Storytelling – Dee from Switchblade Sisters Social Club Podcast guides us through tales of celebrity crime, twisted fortune, and secrets that wouldn't stay buried.

️ Interactive Moments – Keep your wits sharp—there may be clues, games, or chilling surprises woven between the courses.

Some stories were never meant to be forgotten. This is a night where truth is stranger than fiction, luxury meets legend, and the past refuses to rest.

A Story Worth Telling

The art of storytelling was once a communal experience—tales of power, betrayal, and justice were shared by firelight, whispered in darkened taverns, and performed for rapt audiences in flickering candlelit theatres. Over time, storytelling became more distant, consumed in silence through books, radio, TV, and Netflix marathons. But at its heart, it has always been the same: a way to captivate, to intrigue, and to bring people together.

Murder on Tap is bringing it back to its roots, reviving the old-world craft of live storytelling, where every sip, every bite, and every word pulls you deeper into the mystery.
