Do you have a story to tell?

We want to collect 65 real life stories from local residents who are 65 years of age or over.

We are looking for stories from lived moments in a working life, maybe significant, maybe not…either way, everybody has a story to tell about a job they have had, whether comic, tragic or somewhere in between. No previous experience in writing is necessary just the desire to tell a story from any period of your working life. Your story can be up to 1000 words.

We plan to showcase all 65 chosen stories across a live Jobsworth Project Day next year, and together with you, some stories will be developed to become the basis for an original staged production with music at The Exchange Twickenham.
