Join us for one of Twickenham's most beloved street traditions—a glorious tug-of-war tournament that brings the whole community together for an evening of laughs, local pride, and a little healthy competition!

Right outside The Eel Pie Pub, Church Street

This isn't just any tug-of-war—it's a joyous street celebration. Traders, neighbours, pub regulars, and first-timers all come together to form teams, fly their flags, and take part in an event that perfectly sums up what Church Street is all about: fun, friendliness, and local flavour.

The winning team takes home a full keg of beer and, of course, eternal bragging rights.

Team Requirements:
Teams must be mixed—we welcome everyone! Boy, girl, gay, trans, non-binary—it's all about being part of the community.
A minimum of two women per team is required.
Whether you're pulling for your business, your local, or just for fun, all are welcome.
Expect plenty of cheering from the sidelines, cold pints from the Eel Pie, and support from our amazing street traders and local businesses. It's a chance to show up, join in, and celebrate the energy and inclusivity that makes Church Street so special.
