Women Founding Differently

About

A free, informal meet-up for women who are building, exploring, or returning to ideas of entrepreneurship, in ways that fit real life

Patch Twickenham is proud to host Women Founding Differently, a free, informal meet-up for women who are building, exploring, or returning to ideas of entrepreneurship - in ways that fit real life. This monthly gathering is part of our “Second Last Friday” community series, designed to help local founders connect, share openly, and build momentum together.

What’s the event?

Women Founding Differently is a one-hour, lightly facilitated session for female founders, freelancers, and women considering starting something new. It creates a supportive, no-pressure space to connect with others at a similar stage, talk honestly about your work or ideas, and rediscover your motivation.

Each meet-up includes open discussion, simple reflection prompts, and community check-ins - helping you leave with one clear next step or personal takeaway. Bring a coffee, come as you are, and take an hour to reset, recharge, and refocus.

Who’s the event for?

This meet-up is for women founders, freelancers, and anyone exploring entrepreneurship in a way that works for their life. Whether you’re dreaming up a first idea, already running your business, or searching for accountability and support, you’ll find a warm, collaborative community here at Patch.

About Women Founding Differently

This series was created to champion women building businesses on their own terms — balancing creativity, ambition, and real-life commitments. The sessions are community-led and lightly structured, encouraging honest conversation, peer support, and mutual learning.
