  2. Chestnut Sunday is a much-anticipated, family-friendly celebration held annually in Bushy Park. This cherished event pays homage to the magnificent blossom of the horse chestnut trees that line Chestnut Avenue, an iconic feature of the park planted over 300 years ago. The event serves as a vibrant community gathering, combining tradition, entertainment, and a celebration of local culture. A highlight of Chestnut Sunday is the colourful parade that proceeds down Chestnut Avenue, showcasing an array of performers, vintage vehicles, and community groups. Visitors can also enjoy a lively funfair with rides and attractions suitable for all ages, making it a delightful experience for families.

A cinematic journey through the great chapels and museums of Florence, Rome and the Vatican, to the print and drawing rooms of Europe, to explore Michelangelo's tempestuous life. The film goes in search of a greater understanding of this charismatic and enigmatic figure, both through his relationships with his contemporaries and his ongoing artistic legacy.
