Keep the kids entertained and active this summer half term by signing them up to one of the many summer camps running in the borough. Are they the sporty, musical theatre or crafty type? We have something for everyone no matter what they’re into or their age!


Textile and Craft Summer School

1st - 18th August

A week long course, where students will explore the Museum of Richmond's textile collection, develop new skills and create a mini exhibition of the work, all whilst earning a Level 1 qualification (equivalent to a GCSE – grades 3, 2, 1)

They will be looking at textiles from the Museum's collection, exploring their stories and history and using them as inspiration for making their own textile projects.

They will then take everything they have learnt and create their own artwork which will be on display for the rest of the exhibition.


Musical Theatre Workshop

Multiple dates:

*31st - 1st, 2nd - 4th, 21st - 22nd and 23rd - 25th August

Dramacube are holding full day performing arts and film workshops for children ages 4-6, 7-12 and 13-18 years old at Hampton Hill Theatre. Dramacube are an award-winning musical theatre production company. They run term-time musical theatre shows, school holiday workshops and Saturday classes for children in Richmond Upon Thames.

The workshops running this summer are inspired by: Tangled, Aladdin, Matilda, Sing 2 and The Little Mermaid.

Summer Showcase by Boundless Arts

7th - 11th August

The Summer Showcase is a fun filled 5 days that caters for all abilities and focuses on developing your child’s aptitude in the three main genres of performance: Acting, Dancing and Singing in a live theatre space. This year is inspired by Peter Pan.

Movie Makers Workshop

Multiple dates:

*31st - 1st and 21st - 22nd August

Time to get creative in front of….and behind the camera as Dramacube put their very own spin on scary summer movies! Hands-on experience of screen make up, directing and performing in your very own scary movie.

Dramacube are running two different workshops with the themes: When Bees Sting! And There’s Something Living In The Woods


Rugby And Multisports Camp

Multiple dates:

*25th - 27th July, 31st - 24th August, 29th- 31st August

Looking for the perfect summer for your children? Look no further! Richmond Rugby is thrilled to announce their extraordinary holiday camps, catering to sports enthusiasts and creative minds alike. While they may be known as a rugby club, they have expanded their horizons to offer a diverse range of activities. This summer, they are proud to showcase their versatility and provide an unforgettable experience for children of all interests.

They have two Multisport Camps running:

Fun In The Sun Camp

Fuel Camp - This camp is for children who are on free school meals. You will need a 17-digit code that your child's school has provided you. The child will receive a free hot meal.


In addition to these amazing summer camps, there are also several exciting events taking place such as: Outdoor Cinemas, Met in the Park, Junior Bat Walks, Milkshake! Live.
