Baubles with calligraphy writing

About

Join us for our new festive workshop with expert calligrapher Claire Coppard and create two beautiful personalised ceramic baubles!

During the morning, you'll be introduced to the basics of modern brush pen calligraphy and then use these skills as you try your hand at the art of bauble decoration.

After being shown how calligraphy letters are formed, when to apply pressure and the techniques of brush lettering, you'll choose two luxury ceramic baubles to paint and personalise. There'll be a variety of colours and patterns for you to choose from, so you can express your creativity and design and decorate baubles that will look beautiful in your own home or make a fantastic gift.

You'll leave the class with some unique Christmas presents, together with the know-how to make more!

We'll also be serving tea and coffee to help your creativity.

Two baubles and the use of a quality brush pen are included in the class, and materials will be available to buy from Claire at the end of the workshop if you're bitten by the calligraphy bug.

Participant numbers will be kept low to make sure that you have plenty of opportunities for help and to ask any questions you may have.

"Excellent class with friendly and helpful tutor. The time passed really quickly"

"What a fabulous way to spend an evening – learning in a relaxed environment with great company"

We're very happy to run this class as a bespoke party or as an alternative social event for companies. Just mail us on craft@handmadeworkshops.co.uk for more information.
