About

Find the courage to begin – because once you start making music, you'll realise the power of your voice that has been in you all along.

Everyone has music inside them, and this workshop helps you let it out. Through group games, vocal exploration and rapid-fire collaborative songwriting exercises, you'll build confidence, strengthen your listening skills and connect with others through shared creativity. Expect laughter, experimentation and the joy of singing without judgment.

You'll also discover how to trust your instincts, listen deeply and make music in the moment. You'll leave with a renewed sense of musical freedom and a recorded demo of the songs created together in class.

For adults of all experience levels who want to explore creative music-making in a fun, low-pressure environment. No singing or songwriting experience is required — just join in!

This workshop has two parts which are bookable separately:

Part 1, Morning Session: 11am – 1pm
Let Go and Listen. Starting with fun and focus-building games, you'll be taken through a series of structured exercises using simple sounds, moving to duets, trios and large group compositions. It's all about singing without a safety net.

Part 2, Afternoon Session: 1.30pm – 3.30pm
20-Minute Songs. We'll work together to compose short and simple songs using familiar forms and perform them at the end. Trust your instincts, say yes to your first ideas, and go wherever the music takes you – and there's no time for perfection, because the clock is ticking!
